Okay ladies, picture this... buff hunky
celeb in town filming a movie.
The producer
requests a custom
gift. Celeb likes:
Horses
Marine
Life
Cars
Okay, make our lives easy...
The gift magicians that we are, we whip something up to
suit his tastes. No, it doesn't contain a hot rod or a
seahorse, but we improvise.
We also fill the gift with some delicious chocolate
treats.
The producer's response:
'The guy doesn't get a body
like that eating bon bons all day.'
True enough... organic rice cakes anyone?!

The marine life and horses gift we
mentioned above? It was this fabulous gal who worked her
magic on that one!
Yes, Alana Gunn
was a fabulous 'find' for 2B&B. She has an innate
sense of style and creative flair that most definitely
translates to her fabulous gifts. One celebrity agent
even called her in awe to say the gift she sent to his client
was the most beautiful they'd ever seen, even compared to the
chi-chi Hollywood gift companies!!!
(Could we be
more proud?!)
With
a B.A. in Psychology and looking to get her Masters, Alana
soon decided that 'Supermom' was a better fit. It was
this career choice - and one that we certainly
respect! - that she maintained for a number of years as
she raised her two beautiful children.
Fortunately
for us, the entrepreneurial bug caught up with her
and she sought us out, becoming the first
2B&B franchisee...and an exceptional one at
that!
Now
known as the 'Basket Mama' by some of our other
location owners, she willingly shares her experience and
expertise with new members of the 2B&B
family!

What appealed
to you about joining 2B&B?
"Freedom to be
home based, loved the brand, loved everything about it!
Wanted to be a part of something great and
unique."
What is your
goal for 2B&B in Winnipeg?
"To be the be-all & end-all of gift
giving in Winnipeg! The 'YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT
COMPANY!'
"
What are your
favorite 2B&B products?
"Everything! Honestly, every product
comes with so much research, you can't go wrong with any of
them! But if I had to pick one, perhaps the Coffee
Chews - they are SO addictive... As a matter of fact, I'm
probably wearing about 5 pounds of them around my hips right
now!"
Anything else you'd like to
share?
"Best decision of my life. I had
options to work for family, but I wanted to be my own
boss, make my own hours and still be here with my kids...What
else can anyone ask for?"
