You know, just your standard run-of-the-mill

When not busy training for the
2010 Olympics with
her nationally-ranked curling team, hobnobbing
with Canada's business elite for
sponsorship and fundraising, or teaching young
Olympic hopefuls to follow their dream, Lori somehow
also manages to run TWO 2B&B franchise locations in
Alberta.
Multi-tasker extraordinaire.

Here are her thoughts on joining the
2B&B family:
What was your
educational and career background prior to joining
2B&B?
"I have been an educator for
nine years and most recently the Department Head of
Physical Education and Athletics at a high school in St.
Albert. I have always had a passion for wellness and I
think it is important to have a healthy lifestyle model
for youth today. In my spare time I compete with an
elite curling team with hopes of representing Canada at
the 2010 Olympics. I curl third for Cathy King and have
represented Alberta at the Scott Tournament of Hearts in
2005 and 2006. We are currently working towards securing
a Pre-Olympic trial spot to compete to earn the right to
represent Canada in Vancouver."
Can you tell us about your
family?
"I am married to Cody Johns and
we recently celebrated our first anniversary. We live in
Edmonton and pursue many outdoor activities such as ice
climbing, camping, biking and
hiking."
What appealed to you about joining
2B&B?
"I was looking for a business
opportunity that is suited to my lifestyle and vision. I
appreciate that this franchise is a Canadian company
started by passionate, creative women. We are looking to
start a family and I felt Two Blonds & a
Brunette Gift Co. would give me the ability to balance
success with family."
What is your goal with 2B&B in your
community?
"I love the fact that Two Blonds & a
Brunette Gift Co. make an effort to connect to the
community. As a Phys. Ed teacher, I have shared this
goal of making connections with students and the
community. I have been a great supporter of the Run for
the Cure with my students every year. I am proud that I
can continue the connection to Cancer education,
research, and support through our Cupcakes
Aprons."
What are your favorite
2B&B
products?
"This is definitely a hard
question to answer as it is difficult to choose! I adore
our Jaqua Bath & Body products that smell good
enough to eat! I love the Chocolate Seagrass Baskets
with gourmet indulgences such as Enrobed Belgian
Chocolate Almonds, Gourmet Australian Licorice and
Molten Lava Cake Mix. You are a star at any dinner party
with our amazing dessert boxes! I do love all of our
baby lines, as well as our organic skin & body care
